Training & Discipleship

Discipleship Training is a program that equips members to be trained and sent to impact the world. Its purpose is to help believers gain a clear understanding of what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ, and further, to raise up and equip lay leaders for ministry through this training.
Prerequisites:
KCPC Member ("A" Number)
Baptized or Confirmed
Recommended (not required): Basic Training (such as 2:7, 1:1, etc.)
Registration: The next DT class will start in FY27 September 2026.
Registration will open in Summer 2026. -
Ministry Training is a program designed to raise up mature lay ministers like Priscilla and Aquila. It is not merely the next step after Discipleship Training, but a more intensive course focused on equipping servants for ministry within the body of Christ. Unlike the small-group format of Discipleship Training, this course is conducted in a medium-group setting with a larger group of trainees, requiring focused participation and mature commitment. We prayerfully hope this will be a meaningful time of growth as God prepares you to serve as a faithful worker in His Kingdom.

ENGLISH CLASS

Colossians 2:7 defines the goals of the 2:7 Discipleship Training Program.2:7 Discipleship Training consists of a three-stage educational process and focuses on developing spiritually mature and well-balanced Christians. Each training is 12 weeks long and includes Word study, Scripture memorization, Prayer, Praise, and Sharing times.

ENGLISH CLASS
“And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” 2 Timothy 2:2
One-to-One Discipleship Ministry focuses on equipping one person in Christ and sends him/her off with Gospel to train and build up one another in Jesus Christ.
Training period is 16 weeks, including orientation, with each meeting lasting around 90 minutes. -

KCPC EC MEMBERSHIP
"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God” (Ephesians 2:19).
Here at KCPC, we highly encourage church membership to all who follow Jesus Christ. Although all believers already are spiritually members of the Universal Church, we believe that God also calls each Christian to visibly and tangibly commit, serve, and invest into a local church.

EC INFANT BAPTISM
“For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself” (Acts 2:39).
Here at KCPC, we believe in infant baptism because we believe our infants our covenant children and are to receive the sign of the covenant. We baptize infants because we believe this is in obedience to Christ’s command.
Eligibility at time of registration: 5 years old and under, at least one baptized parent and is a KCPC member.
